This year was my first year taking part in Frocktober and to be honest if i wasn’t going on #mystylejourney visiting heaps of everyday women’s style inspiration on Instagram i don’t know that i would have heard of it!
What is Frocktober?
Frocktober is an annual campaign, that takes place in October!, aimed at bringing awareness and much needed research funds for the development of an early detection test for ovarian cancer. Did you know ovarian cancer claims the life of one woman every 10 hours in Australia. There is no early detection test, there is no cure and it can occur in women of all ages.
There were many ways you could support; I chose to start a fundraising page and take on the Frocktober challenge of wearing a ‘frock’ each day for the month. Other ways were Friday frocks and Fundraise at work, hosting a Frocktober event or simply showing your support with a donation.
For my challenge, I had some wonderful companies and small businesses support by letting me showcase their ‘frocks’ in return for making a donation. A few of these wonderful creations and highlights below….
From the bottom of my heart, a huge THANK YOU to all these wonderful supporters, those who made a donation, and for all your support along the way. Greatly appreciated!
Stephanie xx
Disclaimer – some pictures were supplied by the sponsoring business, all other frocks were borrowed to show you, my readers.
